Alder over at Vinography has a nice post on the new wine documentary Mondovino. Jonathan Nossiter has created a Michael Moore/Moran Spurlock style look at the wine world. He pits big wine business against small farmers in black and white world of good vs.evil. I will reserve my judgment until I see it. However the problem I have with people like Moore isn't that they don't have good points to make. they do. It's just that they let a childish urge to slam their subjects undermine their argument. They are disingenuous in their editing to amplify their points. I've heard there is a nice scene with Robert Parker where the camera keeps panning over to Burger King sign while Parker is talking.
