One of those little things that tends to irk me at restaurants is a weak by the glass wine list. Not so interesting options at really inflated prices with generally less than optimal freshness. When dining with a big group this isn't usually an issue. No problem to open three four bottles. Different wine, differnet courses. What happens when you are dining alone? Half bottles are a possibility but most places seem to be pretty weak in this area too. What happens at dinner for two if you want to start or end with something other than your bottle? Back to the by the glass list.
